A 2-port handset-to-Ethernet adapter, the  ATA 192 Multiplatform Analog Telephone Adapter enables IP connectivity for conventional analogue devices.

For improved productivity, the telephone adapter converts conventional telephone, fax, and overhead paging communications devices into IP devices. By connecting their analogue devices to  telephone adapters, customers can use IP telephony apps.
The ATA 192 is the easy choice for customers who connect to business networks, small offices, or internet unified communications services. There are two conventional FXS ports on it, and each of them may be set up to accept two separate Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) registrations. With the ATA 192, clients can more easily and affordably transition to pure voice over IP while preserving and extending their current investment in analogue systems.

The ATA 192 Multiplatform Analog Telephone Adapter is designed to work with Cisco Webex Calling, BroadCloud and BroadWorks, and other third-party call control system Metaswitch, Asterisk.
