The Q-4S-DAC-P1M QSFP+ to 4xSFP+ direct attach copper breakout cable assembly (also known as DAC) provides a highly affordable method of creating an interface between the devices using QSFP+ ports and SFP+ ports. It is ideal for very short distances. The QSFP+ to 4xSFP+ DAC breakout cable is intended for 40Gb/s high-speed networking applications, including top-of-rack switching, high-performance computing (HPC), and network storage industries. It completely complies with SFF+ MSA SFF-8431 and QSFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) SFF-8436. No signal amplification is integrated into the cable construction of this passive DAC cable.
